Position overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated junior to mid-weight draughtsman and industrial designer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in bringing our client's visions to life through the creation of detailed drawings and designs for our experiential marketing activations.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with our creative team to conceptualise and develop innovative design solutions that meet our client's objectives and budget requirements.
Translate conceptual ideas into detailed 2D and 3D drawings using SketchUp and SolidWorks software.
Produce accurate technical drawings, renderings, and prototypes for client approval and fabrication.
Work closely with our fabrication team to ensure designs are executed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining open communication with all stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve design processes and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in industrial design, engineering, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in draughtsmanship and industrial design, preferably in a marketing or experiential agency environment.
Proficiency in SketchUp and Or SolidWorks software is essential.
Strong conceptual and technical design skills, with the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual representations.
Excellent attention to detail and a passion for precision craftsmanship.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with the ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively.
